Floor drain wholesale: what MOQ do Chinese factories typically require?

Many novice buyers often get stuck when dealing with the source factories due to the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) issue. The MOQ for floor drains is not a fixed value. There are significant differences between making them in stock, under contract manufacturing, and custom orders.

For regular standard square floor drains made in stock, the stainless steel models usually require an order of 100 to 200 units, while the brass basic models generally need 100 to 300 units. Many factories support mixed orders and bulk orders, and a small trial order can negotiate to lower the threshold, but the unit price will increase accordingly. Long linear floor drains have complex manufacturing processes, and the regular order quantity is 50 to 100 sets.

If it's just for sample testing of quality, almost all factories support placing an order for a few samples. The sample price is higher than the wholesale price. The subsequent large orders can be offset by the sample fee.

Once it involves imprinting logos, changing surface colors, or special size mold making, the MOQ threshold will significantly increase. Simple logo printing usually requires an order of 300 to 500 units. Complete mold customization requires an order of several thousand units, and additional mold costs must also be borne.
