The linear drain looks great - the narrow slot along the wall can bring a clean and modern feel to the shower area. However, once it is used, some problems arise.
This is the biggest complaint. Linear floor drains can only drain in one direction, so the entire floor must slope towards the edge. If there is a slight deviation in the angle when laying the tiles, water will accumulate in the original place. Unless it is re-done, this problem is almost impossible to solve after the tiles are laid. It is recommended to check the slope before the glue has dried.
For circular or square drain covers, just lift the lid, rinse it, and it's done. But for linear drains, it's a long channel that collects hair and soap scum along its entire length. You need to lift the entire cover and thoroughly clean the inside. If you don't clean it for several weeks, it will start to smell. Moreover, some narrow gaps are difficult to reach with ordinary brushes.
